Sometimes they are genuinely helpful. And one day, if we encourage them and keep allowing them to do stuff, it will sooo pay off.

my husband
Duncan married me on June 17, 2000. He's my best friend, incredibly supportive, extremely helpful, hilariously funny, and darn cute. I know I don't deserve him, but am thankful the Lord has given him to me.
the eldest
Amelie Muriel, born February 19, 2004, is the reserved one. She loves to read, write, and create. She's such a good student that we heard the word "cloning" at her parent-teacher conference. She loathes attention, unless it's on her terms. She's got a nuturing, maternal instinct that is a joy to observe.
the middle
Violet Ella, born February 2, 2006, is the dramatic one. She is always pretending she's someone or something else, so much so, that we often can't remember what to call her. She makes sure to correct us, however. She's a performer, through and through. She's got a big voice and when she cries, you still need to put in your ear plugs.
the baby
Linus Victory, born August 29, 2007, is his mama's boy. He never stops talking, even if no one is listening. He loves every sport he's been introduced to and often can be heard singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" with gusto. He enjoys fixing and building things with his tools. He also loves to help in the kitchen.
